RE: Online
Channing Tatum has confessed he finds romance films more exciting to make than action movies.

The 29-year-old Hollywood heartthrob starred in GI Joe: The Rise Of The Cobra, but his latest starring role is opposite Amanda Seyfried in weepy love story Dear John, from the writer of The Notebook.

Channing said: "I don't know if it's a challenge - I find it more exciting. I don't like action movies, they're not that interesting - although they're fun to do for the physical element of it, I guess."

He added: "But the really fun stuff they don't even let you do, like running into an exploding building, they won't let you do that. There's too much money riding on you not getting hurt and so they don't let you do the really fun things.

"But yes, there's something absolutely exhilarating and, I don't want to call it difficult because it's not really difficult when you do it right... like, just sitting on the beach with someone and having a real conversation, there's something really exhilarating about that, and just opening up being really honest about how you'd be feeling at that age."
